Project
The Village of Menomonee Falls commissioned MCS Woodworking to create a custom reception area tailored to their specific needs and dimensions. The centerpiece of the project was a reception desk measuring an impressive 212 inches in length and 20 inches in width, designed to provide ample workspace and durability.
The desk was constructed using particleboard covered in plastic laminate, chosen for its sleek appearance and practicality. In addition to the desk, MCS installed a custom plastic laminate swing gate with jambs and remodeled a stone countertop, ensuring the entire reception area was cohesive and functional.
The entire project, from blueprint layout to completion, was executed efficiently, taking approximately 14 hours. The result is a polished, professional reception area that meets the needs of the Village of Menomonee Falls while enhancing the aesthetics and usability of the space.
